Maidenhair Fern
Adiantum
The Maidenhair Fern is an elegant and ethereal plant characterized by its delicate, fan-shaped leaflets and contrasting dark, wiry stems. While it is highly prized for its soft, lace-like appearance, it is also known as one of the more demanding houseplants, requiring precise humidity and moisture levels to thrive.

Care Guide
Maidenhair Fern Care Guide
Lighting Place in a spot with bright, indirect light. North or east-facing windows are ideal. Never expose to direct sunlight, which can scorch the paper-thin leaves.
Watering This fern must never dry out. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Using a self-watering pot can be very effective.
Humidity Requires high humidity levels (60% or higher). Place near a humidifier, in a terrarium, or on a pebble tray with water.
Troubleshooting If fronds turn brown and crispy, it is likely due to dry air or underwatering. Yellow fronds may indicate overwatering or the use of hard water.
