Care Guide
Philodendron Pink Princess Care Guide
Light
Provide bright, indirect light for at least 6-8 hours a day. Direct sunlight will burn the pink variegation, while low light will cause the plant to revert to solid green.
Watering
Water when the top 50% of the soil is dry. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot, but do not let the soil become bone-dry.
Humidity and Temperature
Maintain humidity levels between 50-70%. Ideal temperatures are between 65F and 80F (18C-27C). Protect from drafts and air conditioners.
Soil and Support
Use a well-draining aroid mix (orchid bark, perlite, and potting soil). Provide a moss pole to encourage larger leaf growth and climbing.
Maintenance
Clean the leaves regularly with a damp cloth to allow for better photosynthesis. If the plant reverts to green, prune back to the last node with pink variegation to encourage new growth.
