Zebra Haworthia
Haworthia fasciata
The Zebra Haworthia is a petite, visually striking succulent characterized by its architectural rosettes of pointed, dark green leaves. The plant is most distinguished by its horizontal white ridges, known as tubercles, which create a zebra-like pattern across the leaves. Unlike many other succulents, it is exceptionally hardy and maintains a compact size, making it a perfect choice for small indoor spaces or terrariums.

Care Guide
Zebra Haworthia Care Guide #### Light Place your Zebra Haworthia in a location with plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. A south-facing window with a sheer curtain is ideal. Avoid prolonged direct afternoon sun, which can cause the leaves to turn red or brown. #### Watering Use the 'soak and dry' method. Thoroughly water the soil until it drains out the bottom, then wait for the potting medium to dry out completely before watering again. During winter dormancy, reduce watering to once every month or two. Avoid getting water into the center of the rosette to prevent fungal rot. #### Soil and Potting Use a fast-draining potting mix specifically formulated for succulents or cacti. Adding extra perlite or pumice will further improve drainage. Ensure the container has drainage holes. #### Temperature and Environment This plant thrives in standard household temperatures between 60°F and 80°F. It is not cold-hardy and should be kept away from drafts and temperatures below 50°F. #### Maintenance Minimal maintenance is required. You can remove old, withered leaves at the base of the plant to keep it looking tidy. If the plant becomes dusty, gently wipe the leaves with a dry or slightly damp soft brush.
